About MeCarte de visite of a young buy standing next to a small side table. He is wearing a kilt, sporran, knee-high socks and boots. The top button of his coat is done up coat and the waistcoat is buttoned all the way up, and his shirt is white with a black tie. His hair is styled and combed, his left hand is resting half-in his coat pocket while his right is positioned on the table next to a military-style beret. On the reverse the photographer's details appear in full.
