Two fragments of shoe upper. Smaller fragment quarter of upper with two edge-flesh stitching channels, stitch length 2.5-3.5 mm and with tunnel stitch holes for semi-circular stiffener which is the larger of the two fragments. Edge-flesh stitching channel suggests that quarter may have been separate from vamp. Both worn and missing lasting margin. Larger fragment cracked and flaking on grain side with a tear at left side. Also has two holes at top centre. Small pieces of detritus present in tissue paper.
