About MeThis slip cast, pure white bone china bowl is from Sasha Wardell's 'Space' series. It is decorated with a pattern of turquoise blue circles above the base and a blue interior.Sasha Wardell works with bone china, a material normally associated with the production of commercial ceramics. Although she uses industrial processes her pieces are unique and made individually with precision. Pieces are slip-cast, a method which uses liquid clays and moulds to create the forms. The bowl is then sliced back to create pattern and reveal the colours. This also accentuates the translucent quality of bone china.
