About MeStoneware globular teapot with short spout springing from the shoulder of the body and short rounded handle also attached at the shoulders.

The outside of the body and cover are glazed in a wood-fired tenmoku glaze which has resulted in a mottled shades of brown, black, pale grey-blue and rust which is more prevalent towards the base of the teapot.

The shape of the teapot is inspired by East Asian forms and Tim Rees has chosen a lustrous tenmoku glaze, also originating from East Asia, to enhance the elegantly simple shape.
