About MePorcelain large open flared bowl glazed throughout in a pale greeny-blue celadon glaze.

The potter, Stanley Field, makes ceramics which are restrained in their form and decoration, taking inspiration from East Asia. Celadon is a type of glaze which originated in China. It is frequently found in shades of pale green, however colours can range from pale pearl blue to dark olive green depending on the quantity of iron oxide added to the glaze before it is fired.
