About MeKnown as Jasperware this is a traditional form of Wedgwood, introduced by Josiah Wedgwood in 1774. The body is a solid colour, usually blue, green or lilac, with the pattern applied in relief. Classical designs of medallions, swags and beaded borders were most popular.
