About MeThe brightly coloured design on this earthenware teapot is produced by painting latex patches over a base glaze and then spraying a different coloured glaze over the pot before picking off the latex.
This teapot is very shiny due to the application of a very thin third glaze.
The brightly coloured glazes are based on 18th century Whieldon Ware.
There is a black scale pattern on the handle and spout.
