About MeA circular token inscribed on both sides: Side 1: Trinity Parish Church Aberdeen 1834 Built 1734; Side 2: Do This in Remembrance of Me / Luke XXII.19 / But Let a Man Examine Himself.

Built in 1794 on the site of the church of the medieval Trinitarian Friary on what is now Exchange Street, Trinity Church was opened as a mission chapel. Although no longer used as a church the building still exists.

At the time of the issue of the communion token the minister of Trinity was David Simpson who was born in Findhorn, Moray and educated in Cromarty, Ross-shire. He joined the Free Church on its formation in 1843.
