About MeA square token bearing on one side only the initials of the church and the date of issue of the token. The initials stand for 'Kirk of Nether Banchory', the alternative name for Banchory-Devenick, which distinguishes it from the better-known Banchory twelve miles further up the Dee valley.Situated close by the A943 South Deeside road, the church occupies a picturesque site beside the River Dee and has managed to avoid being encroached on by Aberdeen's suburban sprawl. The building, which was re-constructed in 1930 is no longer in use as a place of worship.
