About MeThis is an unusually large, square token with a serrated border; it is somewhat crudely inscribed on one side only with the church name which is oddly spelt `Marycultur'.

Maryculter Church is situated at Kirkton of Maryculter about seven miles south-west of Aberdeen on the south side of the River Dee. Although the church together with its manse remains intact it is no longer in religious use.

The pre-Reformation church of Maryculter was dedicated, as one might expect, to St Mary and belonged to the Knights of St John of Jerusalem based at Torphichen, near Linlithgow, West Lothian.
