About MeA rectangular token with cut corners; the communion table number (3) at which the token was used appears on one side while a representation of the Burning Bush occupies the other.

The inscriptions on this token are: Side 1: St Clement's Church Aberdeen 1843 / This Do in Remembrance of Me 1Cor.XI.19 / Free Church of Scotland / Nec Tamen Consumebatur.

The Free Church Congregation of St Clement's was created almost immediately after the Disruption of May 1843 which gave birth to the Free Church itself. The hastily-erected wooden building in Baltic Street, Footdee was one of the first Free Churches to be built in Scotland.
