About MeThis two-piece black wedding dress was made and worn by June Allan, in 1893. She was a dressmaker from Bridge of Balgownie, and married Frances Stephen, a joiner from Monymusk. The bodice is boned, and embellished with 12 large buttons, stand-up collar, and embroidered net lace. Although it is black, the bride was not known to have been in mourning.
