About MeAn unissued note printed by Perkins and Bacon of London in brown on white ground with the value on a green lithographed panel across the centre; the date is printed on the note but, as it was never issued, there is no serial number.

Of the Aberdeen-based banks only the Town and County issued notes in the denomination of 10 pounds. The 1882 series also included the more usual 20 pounds as well as a very rare £100.

In 1882 the Aberdeen Town and County Bank was registered under the Companies Act of 1879. Consequently, on the note series of 1882 the Bank's title is altered to "The Town and County Bank Limited".
