About MeEarthenware tea bowl or yunomi with pale green-blue ash glaze over an earthenware body. It is straight sided with a prominent rib on a small foot.

Rogers' body of work expresses influences from the Japanese ceramic tradition. He is particularly fascinated by salt and ash glazes, and has spent considerable time in experimentation with these forms of decoration. Ash glaze or nuka derives from Japan and has been used to decorate the Yunomi; a Japanese vessel used in the traditional tea ceremony.
