About MeThe work of artist Willie Ewen first came to public notice during his association with the workshop at the Aberdeen Cyrenians, which offered art studio facilities to disadvantaged people in Aberdeen.
Letter from Lunan commemorates the artist's stay in an old caravan on Lunan Bay, south of Montrose. The little shelf represents the interior of the caravan. It holds a collection of objects picked-up on his visit. The long letter to his friends at the Cyrenians day centre vividly evokes his experiences tramping the countryside around Lunan.

More About Me
A really good example of a "narrative" art work which not only tells a story in words but illustrates it with relevant objects!
