About MeThe shape of this teapot recalls the highly-stylised, innovative form of the Scottish bullet teapot, which became popular in the mid18th century. The teapot was designed by Appleby, raised by Peter Musgrove, completed by Andrew Metcalf, with polishing and gilding by Alan Fitzpatrick. The object takes its name from Appleby's pierced spout strainer which is inspired by watercress found in a brook.
