About MeLong veils, lace, frills and flounces were popular towards the end of the 1960s, as can be seen in this wedding outfit. It was worn by an Aberdeen bride at Powis Parish Church, on the 31st of May 1969. This nylon dress was made and sold by Nicoll, Aberdeen, along with a veil and headdress. The 'Nicoll' cardboard box, veil and headdress are held within the collection too.
