About MeThis dress was worn by an Aberdeen bride at her wedding in Greyfriars’ Church, Aberdeen, in October 1963. The bride bought the dress at 'The Wedding Bell' in Aberdeen after the shop assistant said that she would suit the design.

The cut and style were based on the wedding dress worn by Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy, who was married in April 1963 and wore a lace wedding gown with matching veil and train, designed by John Cavanagh, a renowned London fashion designer.
