About MeAn innovator, icon, and symbol of enduring excellence, Annie Lennox is one of Aberdeen’s most famous exports. World-renowned singer and songwriter she has sold over 80 million records and has been honoured by numerous awards including the ‘Brits Champion of Champions’. In the 1980s, Annie achieved major international success alongside fellow musician, Dave Stewart, as the Eurythmics before embarking on a solo career in 1992.

She is a strong supporter of Amnesty International and Greenpeace, and in 1999 Annie and Dave Stewart donated all of the profits from Eurythmics’ Peace tour to both charities. In 2007 Annie teamed up with 23 of the world’s most acclaimed female musical artists for the charity record ‘SING’ to raise money and awareness of HIV and AIDS.
