About MeThe factory at Fraserburgh opened in 1904, employing around 160 people by 1907. At their peak, the firm employed more than 1000 people in Fraserburgh and a further 750 in Aberdeen. Operations in Aberdeen included a factory in Tullos, which closed in 1982 with the loss of 250 jobs and in 1983, the Aberdeen office was also closed as the American-owned firm consolidating operations in London and Sheffield, although production continued at the Fraserburgh factory.
