The Kenterlink acts as a substitute link in the chain length once two sections are joined together. They are used regularly in rig moving and mooring and are manufactured with a breaking strength in excess of the chain lengths they join together. They split down into 4 x pieces to allow them to fit each separate chain length before being re-assembled to give the secure connection needed. This kenterlink is for 76mm Diameter chain and has an individual weight of 67kgs.
