About MeCorrespondence from James McBey to Marguerite McBey, dated 25 July 1948. Three sheets. James writes how he has received Marguerite's letter from Cuba quickly, followed by a rather delayed letter that was repeated in ABDAG008318.14. He promises not to say anything regarding their separation to men called "Eugene" and "Sidney", and to Marguerite's mother, Hortense. He says that Sidney dislikes him.

He also refers to a relationship dispute.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this letter.
