About MeCorrespondence between James McBey and Marguerite McBey, dated 12 September 1948, and sent from Tangier. McBey writes that he received Marguerite's cable several days ago, with reference to portrait requirements, but that he has not received these yet. He states that he has had a cable from Mrs. Palmer giving the size of the portrait as 41" x 30", a big size, a lot bigger than a previously-given size. Because of this, James will have to make the subject look as if he is standing, but the arms may be a problem.

He asks Marguerite to send, via air mail to London, unmounted photographs, so he can decide where he is to do the portrait.

He notes that, when he is leaving Jalobey, he shall lock away those things not easily replaceable.

He hopes Marguerite is well, and happy.
