About MeA firman bearing the tughra of Sultan Abdülhamid II (r. 1876-1909). There are 4 lines to the page, written in diwani script in black ink, surmounted by a large tughra in black watercolour (?), covered with glitter. This Imperial Decree was received from Sultan Abdülhamid II and promoted Colonel Frost to the rank of Brigadier General ('Pasha' in Turkish).
