About MeThis stoneware footed rose bowl is decorated with a Line and Dot Basket pattern of cream slip, a liquid clay which was applied in vertical lines with a brush or slip trailer. Dots were subsequently incised into the slip to create the pattern.
Made by Michael Cardew at his Wenford Bridge Pottery in Cornwall, England after he returned from working in Africa.
