About MeSalt-glazed stoneware cylindrical mug which tapers towards the rim with an oval loop handle. The glaze is in shades of speckled light tan, beige and grey with the characteristic 'orange peel' texture associated with salt-glazing. The brown colour of this salt-glazed mug indicates the presence of iron oxide in the glaze.

Salt-glaze is achieved by throwing common salt into the kiln at the peak temperature and creates a texture like orange peel on stoneware ceramics.
