About MeThis earthenware teapot has an integrated circular base which is wider than the body. The exterior and base are decorated with yellow Whieldon style glaze with running brown splashes. The opening is off centre near one edge.
The handle and spout are decorated with hollow cut branches with thorns. The use of branch or ‘crabstock’ details in
ceramics became popular in the 18th century.
