About MeA porcelain bottle glazed all over in a black tenmoku glaze with iron rust rim. There is a faint wash of celadon across the shoulders and running down the body creating a speckled, cloudy, decoration.Tenmoku is a Japanese term for a glaze originating in East Asia, which usually is lustrous black or treacle-brown in colour. Celadon also originated in East Asia and is frequently found in shades of pale green. However colours can range from pale pearl blue to dark olive green depending on the quantity of iron oxide added to the glaze before it is fired.
