About MeThis large stoneware fluted bowl with rounded rim is glazed all over with a thick wood ash glaze from "Red How", Lamplugh, Cumbria. A rich red iron slip beneath can be seen around the rim and highlighting the fluting.
The bowl was fired in the hottest part of the kiln creating a deep olive green glaze, streaked with navy blue becoming almost black.
