About MeCarte de visite of a woman standing with her left arm resting on the back of a decorate wooden chair. She is wearing a bonnet with a large bow at the bottom. Her dress has a checkered pattern and buttons up the whole length of the corset. The sleeves are slightly puffy and she is wearing a brooch on her collar. She is holding a letter in her right hand. No photographer's print appears on the reverse of the card or on the front.c. 1870
