About MeCarte de visite of a woman standing with both hands resting on the back of a plush chair. To her right side there is a draped curtain. Her hair is above her shoulders in a hair net with a middle parting. She is wearing a full skirted dress with long wide sleeves and dropped shoulders. There is a wide dark trim on the bottom of the sleeves and the bottom of her skirt. There is a brooch on her white lace trim collar, and she is also wearing a long chain necklace and earrings.
