About MeCarte de visite of a standing woman next to a table draped in a black cloth with tassels. There is a parasol on the top of the table. She is wearing a full skirt and a bodice with buttons down the front and drop shouldered bell sleeves. There is contrast detailing on the shoulders and on the skirt at the pockets. Her right arm is positioned on top of the table and in her left she is holding a light coloured bonnet decorated with feathers and flowers. Her hair is neatly styled in a hairnet and headband. She is wearing earrings, a choker, a bracelet on each wrist, and a ring on her left hand.

On the reverse the photographer's details appear in full. Marked on back of photograph "G.W. Wilson Photographer Aberdeen", no coat of arms.
