About MeMrs Louise Robertson wore this flounced nylon dress to her wedding at Ferryhill Parish Church, on Fonthill Road, Aberdeen, in 1986.

This full-length white nylon wedding dress with hat boasts a plethora of frills around the bodice, sleeves and skirt. These grand details were accompanied by a grand silhouette, with the skirt underpinned by several petticoats. In the 1980s, the most popular dresses were romantic and feminine, and although based on a traditional style, were often made of synthetic, modern materials like nylon and polyester.
