About MeEdith May Adam entered training at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary 3rd August 1950. She completed her nurse training 31st October 1953. She went on to train at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital completing 12 months study December 1954. June 1954 she passed the First Examination of the Central Midwives Board for Scotland. February 1955 she completed her registration with the Board. August 1957 she became a member of the Royal College of Nursing and through this body received Ward Sister training, also 1957.
