About MeBoy's Gordon tartan kilt on black satin bodice lined with cream cotton. The kilt fastens at the front with two internal black metal buttons on the left and two rectangular white metal regimental style buttons on the right. These are also used as the centre of two black silk rosettes on the front edge. The bodice fastens with 5 black metal buttons marked 'SUSPENDER'. The kilt has been lengthened by the insertion of two black petersham ribbons at the shoulder.1880s
