About MeThe first samples of tea reached England between 1652 and 1654. Although prices were high, "tea mania" swept through the nation. Only the wealthy could afford it and the poor were often paid in it. So I thought: "What if you were so rich you could wear the stuff?"

This piece was made as part of 'A Creative Intervention' an exhibition which took place at Provost Skene's House in 2011. At the time Yvette was a second year 3D Design student at Gray's School of Art. Students from the course were invited to engage with Provost Skene's House and submit a piece of work influenced by their experience. The works were judged by curators from AAGM and those chosen were displayed within the house.
