About MeLetter from Anna Lee Smyth to James McBey, undated, but with "Sunday 2:30pm" written in the top right corner. Anna tells McBey that it was "regretful" not to be seeing him again, then talks about showing "Mildred" McBey's drawings. She tells McBey that she wishes he might meet with "Mildred" and hopes that he had a good and profitable day. Anna ends the letter by urging McBey not to work too hard, telling him that she is available if he ever needs her.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this letter.
