About MeThis bottle vase has a squared body and short neck and is decorated with black tenmoku glaze over iron glazes. Tenmoku is a Japanese term for a type of glaze which is treacle-black in colour, sometimes shading to a rust brown where the glaze is thin.

Jim Malone has also added a combed decoration on two opposing faces of the vase.
