About MeThis bulbous bottle vase has a short neck with a thickly potted rim. It is decorated with brown glaze with iron painted stemleaf motifs over thickly brushed white hakeme slip.

Hakeme pottery is a traditional Korean ceramic technique also used by Japanese potters. Slip is applied to the surface of a pottery piece with a brush or other tool to create textured designs.
