About MeThis oval porcelain pot is glazed in a dark, almost black, tenmoku glaze over a rust-coloured iron glaze.Tenmoku is a Japanese term for a high gloss glaze which can be treacle-brown or a lustrous black in colour. The more quickly the pot is cooled after firing in the kiln, the darker the glaze will be.
