About MeCarte de visite of a woman seated next to a table with a tasseled cover. She is wearing a double breasted bodice with large lapels and tight sleeves. She has a white collar and cuffs. Her hair is styled in plaits woven round in a hairnet and there is a decorative comb at the back of the head. She is wearing a short necklace, a longer chain, earrings and a brooch.
On the reverse the photographer's details appear in full. Marked on front "G. W. Wilson & Co. Aberdeen and at back "established 20 years G. W. Wilson & Co. 22, 24 & 25 Crown Street Aberdeen by special appointment photographers to Her Majesty in Scotland"
