About MeCarte de visite of a young girl standing next to a table; in her right hand there is a book which is resting on the table. There is a plinth to her right and a draped curtain to the left. Her hair is up in a hair net with a middle parting. Her dress has long narrow sleeves with dropped shoulders, a collar with white trim and a belt around her waist. The skirt is full and ankle length. On the reverse the photographer's details appear in full.
