About MeCarte de visite full length portrait of George Washington Wilson. He is standing with his right hand resting apon a column. There is a patterned curtain behind the column and a cushion on the floor at the base of the column. His left hand is tucked into his coat pocket with his thumb sticking out. He is in a lounge suit of loose trousers, a waistcoat and an over coat which is closed at the neck and loose over the rest of the body. His hair is parted on the left and he has a full beard. On the back of the card it has G.W.W details locations and the Royal Warrant Stamp with the phrase Dieu et mon droit which translates to "God and my right" which is the motto of the British Monarch and "Photographer to the Queen".1858-1878
