About MePowder Blue domestic and table wares were designed by William Moorcroft in 1913. Although the company are better known for their highly decorative wares, this design remained in production until 1963.

Moorcroft launched its pottery in stores with such prestigious reputations as Harrods and Tiffany & Co.  William Moorcroft himself was appointed Potter to Her Majesty the Queen in 1928!
