About MeThis baking dish is made of Fremington clay, a local found in Devon, close to Clive Bowen's pottery. The dish was moulded by Clive's son, Tom and decorated in a spontaneous manner by Clive using slips (liquid clay) also from his local area.
The interior and rim are glazed in very dark brown slip over honey yellow and decorated with a slip trailed honey yellow glaze applied as double curling bands across the centre and splashes in the two opposite corners.
