About MeThe use of 18ct gold to create the functional looking clip constrasts with the other man-made materials. The Lycra fabric expands and shrinks to cover the strange juxtaposition of shapes within, allowing disorientating glimpses of the plastic underneath through the varying green tones of the mesh.Yoko Izawa explores her interest in ambigious expression through the containment of things and this neckpiece has the elusive form and function typical of much of her work.
