About MeThe bride made her dress using a Vogue magazine pattern and wore it to her wedding on the 31st of July 1963 in Middlefield Parish Church, Aberdeen.
The minimal lines and triangular silhouette of the 1960s are evident in this wedding dress. The bell-shaped skirt, long-sleeved, fitted bodice and the sweeping, detachable waist train, together with the choice of Chinese silk material, give the dress a striking effect.
