About MeThese gloves are part of a wedding outfit with matching dress, veil, shoes, stockings and a handkerchief, all worn by an Aberdeen bride to her wedding at Kelman Memorial Church, Peterculter, in June 1923.
The outfit is very similar in style to that worn by Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon at her wedding to the future King George VI.
