About MeThis wedding dress was bought in early 1967 at 'Jax', a clothing boutique in George Street, Aberdeen. The bride was very particular in that she didn't want a straight dress, which had been the predominant fashion for most of the 1960s. She wanted a Victorian-style wedding dress: flouncy, layered, voluminous and white. The wedding took place in June 1967 at the former East Belmont Church, now known as the Triple Kirks, in Aberdeen.
