About MeAberdeen born, Betty Clunas (1929-2012) served as the Chair of the Friends of Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums. She had a fondness for design between 1890 and 1940, and especially liked the Art Deco period. She bought vintage clothing she could wear to special occasions or to a party, though she did not always wear them straight away, keeping them until an appropriate event came along. She wore this 1920s vintage dress in the 1980s and likely wore it to an event at Aberdeen Art Gallery.
